Now back to the post… There’s lots of speculation around the announcement: will it be a Delay? A Reverb? An EQ? A Compressor? A Meter or Analyzer? It could be any of the above or something crazy and new. It could be a flash in the pan, or it could be a primo top-shelf audio tool. The fact that they’re only giving it away free for one day means it could certainly be rolled into a bundle or sold separately for a premium price after the giveaway promo without diminishing its perceived value.
My guess is that it will be a reworked or upgraded version of something already in the line-up, or perhaps even a group of reworked plugins forming a combination tool by pulling some super useful and popular individual tools into a single, very simple interface with a minimal knob/button set.
Whatever it is, I hope it’s a swiss army knife kind of tool we’ll all want to use day in and day out.
