Ulrich Schnauss is an electronic musician and producer from Germany working across many different genres from drum/bass and minimal techno to house and shoegaze. His music career started at the age of 18 in 1995, when he started to release tracks under the pseudonyms of View to the Future and Ethereal. Since then he has been ask to work with and remix for many artists, such as Port-Royal, Mojave 3, Airiel, A Shoreline Dream, Asobi Seksu, Televise, Long-view, Engineers and others, and has released over 20 albums and singles on various labels. In this video he gives us a detailed tour of his synth studio, discussing not only the gear and origin stories, but what he likes about the different synthesizers and how he uses them.
